Kyndie talking to her daddy

This is Kyndie talking to her daddy, you can tell how much she adores him. She loves to talk, but she won't do it in front of the camera so we kinda had to sneak this one on her. I don't know if it's something new she sees and is interested in the camera or if she knows that I want to film her doing something cute. Anyway, She was in her bassinet and she didn't want to go to sleep I guess so she was laying in there talking and laughing to herself. I peeked in at her and she was even smiling to herself. So when daddy went to look at her she saw him and started to talk to him and I just had to get it on video. I have a few pictures, these are from yesterday.

This is Kyndie playing with her toy that she got for Christmas. She seems to really enjoy it. She stares at the little doggy that moves up and down and coos and squeals (Sp?) at it. It is so stinking adorable. She is beginning to notice a lot more things. For instance, when we put her in her swing the mobile has a mirror underneath it and she can see herself and she will sit there and stare at herself for hours. She is so amazed by it. She will be 3 months soon and she is growing so fast and learning things so quickly. She noticed her hand the other day and stared at it for a minute, but she had it to close to her face and she went cross eyed, that was hilarious. She has also started grabbing my face a lot. She kicks her little feet and flails her arms. She can get those legs pumping. She is already Daddy's girl....she watches his every move, if she can see him you can see her eyes following him and if she can't see him but can hear him she strains to see him and gets upset if she can't find him. She will be in her bouncy seat and he will come up and she will start kicking her little legs and raise her arms to him like she wants him to pick her up and she will grin her biggest smile and when he steps back she smiles some more to reel him back in. You can tell when she smiles at him that she adores him, her eyes twinkle. She does that with me too. Here are a couple of pictures with her staring at herself in the mirror on the swing.

Kyndie made out like a bandit with all her toys. She is completely spoiled on both sides. She is an only grandchild on Greg's side and the only girl on my side. From my mother she got rings, clothes from Aunt Brandy and Uncle Jimmy and another toy from Uncle Rantz and Aunt Shantel. She had no idea. Next year will be so fun, because she will know a little more of what is going on and she can rip into the presents. Anyway, Merry Christmas!

She is doing well and growing fast! She is cooing and smiling more and more everyday. It is soo fun, because she notices and recognizes Greg and I. You can tell because her eyes get big and light up and then she will start cooing at us or as I call it talking to us. She's not really doing much else yet.

2 Month check up

Yesterday was Kyndie's two month check up. Everything is in order and coming along the way that it should be. She weighed 11Lbs and 8OZ and was 22 inches long. A little fatty! She had to have 4 shots and it was the saddest thing that I have ever seen! I almost cried too! She was happy and then all of a sudden she was being poked with sharp things, the look on her face just broke my heart. She was looking at me like "mommy, why are you letting her do this to me?!" She slept all day yesterday and is wanting to sleep all day today, but I think she feels better. The doctor called her chubby...haha. He wasn't getting onto me just said she was chubby because I told him that she was eating anywhere from 5-6 Ounces. Well no pictures today just an update!

Christmas Pics

I haven't been able to update because our internet has been down for the last 2 days, but on Saturday we went to my moms and my sister took our family pictures for us and my mom took some of Kyndie. She looked so adorable in her Christmas dress! I don't have any of the pictures that my sister took yet, but I do have some that my mom took and they are so good! Here they are.

When I get the ones that Brandy did I will put some one here, because those have family pics. I can't wait to see how they turned out. When we first started taking the pictures Kyndie was not a happy camper, she threw a fit, which is unusual for her because she hardly ever cries. I figured out that she was hungry and tired. We wanted pictures without the binky, but the only way to keep her from crying was to give it to her, so we have a few with it covering half of her face. Oh well she's still adorable! So we ended up letting her take a little cat nap and feeding her while Brandy went and got the twins and then when she got back Kyndie did very well, until she was tired of her picture being taken.

She has been teething and I feel so sorry for her because I know that her gums are hurting her so bad. I can see the tooth under the surface of her gums. I had to call Brandy to see if I could give her some Orajel because on the box it says four months and she is only 2 months old today. I gave her just a little bit and she licked it before I put it on her gums so I think she got a little bit on her tongue. It was instant relief for her because she stopped crying instantly. The look on her face was hilarious though when it got on her tongue...she kept sticking her tongue out and her eyes were big. After that wore off I had to give it to her again, but she was ok.

Greg is spoiling her! I am trying to get her to put herself to sleep in her bassinet and not hold her as much because she won't go to sleep at night if we hold her all day, plus I think it makes her body hurt. Anyway, she sleeps all night for me and acts really well, but on Greg's night she's a little monster... lol. She cries and cries and won't go to sleep. I keep telling him it's because he tenses up and she can sense it but he is so sure that he doesn't do that. I know he does. So he puts her in bed with us and lets her sleep there. She will sleep in the bassinet for me because I won't give into her, but she already knows that daddy will. It's frustrating when I am trying to teach her something and then it's dashed and then I have to start all over again. Oh well he'll get the point sooner or later when he is up with her all the time and I get to sleep.
