Finally Rolling Over!

For starter's I don't think that I mentioned in any of my recent posts that Kyndie is finally rolling over! She has been for a few weeks now but I just forgot to mention it. She rolls all over the place...especially when I am changing her diaper. She does soo many funny things! She is SUCH a JOY and brings laughter to my life daily! I put her into her bed and she puts herself to sleep. We are finally beginning to get into a routine. She naps at least one or two times during the day and then she goes to bed at about 9 or 9:30. First she gives daddy big slobbery kisses and then I get big slobbery kisses, I then put her into her bed and check off our routine...I name them off for her as I do them. First, she gets her binky...then her keys...then I cover her up and then give her the stuffed frog...turn on her music and turn on her monitor then kiss her one more time and tell her I love her and then I turn out the lights. She usually plays for about 10 or 15 minutes and then she sleeps. I check on her like a million times and most of the time when I go in there she has the blanket over her face which I have to remove. I then take the frog and the keys away so she doesn't suffocate on anything. She sleeps through the night for the most part their are some nights that she wakes up at 4 in the morning but that isn't very often. She is a big girl now...she is sitting in high chairs now and just yesterday she grabbed her pawpaw's (Greg's dad) sopapia (sp?). It was funny....I saw her going for it but she was too quick...she had it before I could even say anything. She is grabby and if you don't push your food back she will get it! I believe she is finally getting her bottom tooth...it is poking through a little bit

Today we bought her this toy that is supposed to help her learn how to crawl. It's called the Vtech roll and crawl ball. It is soo neat. Shantel has this ball for Collin and Kyndie played with it a lot when we were over there so I figured we could get her one. So tonight she was playing with it and I looked at her and she was resting her chin on it and watching TV and I did get pictures! It was soo cute!

Happy Easter

We took Kyndie this morning to get her picture taken with the easter bunny. She didn't cry or anything she just sat there and got her picture taken. It didn't phase her one bit. Then when we got her home I took some pictures of her in her Easter dress, it wasn't easy and they are not perfect, but they will do.

Peek-A-Boo

I just love to hear her laugh!! She is a little stinker! She loves to pull my hair! She still puts everything in her mouth and is drooling like crazy!! She says momma and dada. I'm not making that up, my mom and little sister hear her. Before they heard it no one believed me..they kept telling me that she was too young to be saying that but she says it often and has been saying momma since she was about 2 mths...no lie! She is still eating solids and she loves it. I gave her a teeny tiny bit of chocolate today and she LOVED it!! She had chocolate on her mouth. Any food or drink that we have she grabs for. She's no dummy, she knows that my food is way better than her solids and she would rather have mine. She reaches for things and can pick them up and hold it very well. If she drops her toy keys I will hold her down so she can pick them up.

For starters Kyndie did the funniest thing ever! I laid her on the bed after I fed her and went to get a diaper and a nightie to change her, but before I left I gave her her binky. When I came back she had the binky on her forehead and was trying to look up at it and was flailing her arms and making grunting noises....I was laughing sooo hard....I was frantically searching for the camera so I could take a picture...Greg was in the bathroom and I ran by looking for the camera and he was like "What is going on?" and he went to look at her and she wasn't doing anything, she had knocked it off before I could snap a picture, however I reenacted so you can see what she was doing. So here it is...

So I'm sure I have told this story before, but at church there is this little boy named Lane. He is the nephew of one of our friends and a few weeks back Lane and Kyndie were holding hands in church and had everybody's attention...it was adorable! Well we haven't been to church in a couple of weeks and we went today and Lane was happy to see her but I don't think he liked her bonnet because he grabbed it and tried to pull it off in the process making Kyndie's head wobble all over the place. She just grinned real big at him. It was funny! He also pulled her closer to him by her jacket. He is only a few months older than Kyndie. I think he will be a year old in June.

On another note Kyndie will be 5 mths old tomorrow. She weighs 17 pounds! I will update everything else later. She finally rolled over yesterday! She was laying in bed with me and was playing with her binky and rolled to her side and then rolled on over to her stomach. She look at me with a shocked look on her face like I had done it to her. She grabs for everything and sticks it in her mouth, including my hair. She loves her little toys and especially loves playing with her binky. She gave her first kiss the other day, it wasn't to me, but to her nanny (my mother). Silly little girl. She does something new everyday and makes me laugh. She is such a joy to me and her daddy! Daddy missed her rolling over because he was in the shower but she will do it just for him one day. I swear that she says actual words some days. I've heard her say momma...me not being the only one to hear her. It sounds like she says hi or hey and today it sounded like she said daddy...maybe she is maybe she isn't. Oh well I guess I can think what ever I want. Well I guess that is all for today!

Silly Little Girl!

Kyndie is getting sooo big!! She is doing more and more everyday!! Anything she can get in her hands she will grab for and it immediately goes into her mouth. She knows how to take her binky out of her mouth and she will hold it and look at it and then look at you and drop it in the floor and then smile. Last night she took the binky out of her mouth and got excited and started swinging her arm and was hitting me with it and then laughing. She's an ornery (sp?) little thing! She has a bouncy toy that we bought her and she absolutely loves it!! She gets excited and bounces like crazy! She is sitting up on her own pretty well. Last night I had her laying against my pillow and she pulled herself up. She loves her solids! The other day I wasn't getting it to her fast enough and she snatched the spoon out of my hand and shoved it into her mouth! Anywho I have some pictures...
