The doctor said...

So we took Kyndie to the doctor this morning at 10:00. He said that it was just congestion and he told us how to know whether we should bring her in or not. He said to look at her chest and if she was breathing heavy and if her chest was dipping in that it was in her chest and to bring her in then, but if it wasn't doing that not to bring her in because she's probably not sick, but could get sick sitting in the waiting area. He didn't want us to bring her in today but I'm like...umm I'm a first time parent and I don't know these things...not to mention that I am paranoid. He said to just spray some saline solution up her nose when it's really congested and to lay her sitting up about 6 inches when she's sleeping and also to get a humidifier. He also said not to take her to the mall because she could get sick from there. So we were like ok. She weighed 11 pounds exactly. She's a little piglet. Well I thought I would let y'all know that she is ok and that I am just paranoid.

Little girl is sick

Kyndie has some congestion and she has a doctor's appointment in the morning. It is soo sad because you can hear the the drainage in her nose and I think it is coming from her chest too. She scared the crap out of me yesterday because I was holding her and she just started choking. I about freaked out! and then last night, well actually it was early this morning she started coughing and choked on the drainage...I jumped up out of that bed soo fast and then she slept with me until we got up at 8:30. I hope everything is ok with her tomorrow...I'm worried about it.

Other than that everything else is good...she is starting to coo more and more everyday. She laughs and smiles real big. She has her 2 month appointment on the 11th, which will be a sad one because she has to have 4 shots. I think I may have to leave the room for that because I will start crying with her. Well I just wanted to give and update. I will let everyone know what happens after the doctors appointment.

Christmas Pictures

We took Kyndie to see Santa the other day. It was soo stinking cute! When we got there Santa was on his lunch break so we had to wait like an hour for him but it was worth it because Kyndie was so adorable! She had no idea that she had her picture taken with him because she slept through the whole thing! So here is the adorable picture.

yesterday we stripped her down to her diaper and put her under the Christmas tree and stuck a bow on her butt and a tag that said "To Greg and Keelan, From God" It is soo cute! Here is the result of that.

She didn't too much like it when she was awake so we had to wait until she fell asleep so we could get some good pictures. She getting so big so fast, I can't believe that she is already almost 2 months. She has like a little rash on her face. I think it might be eczema because her cousin Collin and her cousin Karter have that. If it continues to spread I will call the doctor and see if he can't look at it and tell us what it is. Ok well here are some more pics.

Greg took this last night, she's so stinking adorable!

Our little Blessing

Well this is a blog about our new little addition to the family. Her name is Kyndie Cheyenne Dodson. She is our first child. She was born on October 10, 2007, she weighed 6Lbs 12Oz and was 18 1/2 inches long and was born at 7:36 P.M. This blog is a little late at coming, but I will catch you up on her.

At her 2 week appointment she weighed 7Lbs 13Oz and the doctor said that everything looked good and to keep feeding her the same as we had been.

Then we had a WIC appointment on Nov. 5th and she weighed 8Lbs 5Oz and was 20 1/4 inches long and then 2 days later she had her one month appointment and weighed 8Lbs 9Oz and still was 201/4 inches long and she got her second Hepatitis B shot. It was so sad!

She is now 1 month and 13 days old. She is growing sooo fast! She is smiling a lot more! They are real smiles not gas pains. She smiles more at daddy because she is a daddy's girl! She is cooing now and is even giggling. I thought at first that the giggle may have been an accident, but she continues to do it with a smile on her face. She is giggling and cooing as I am typing this. Also last night she stared me right in the eye and reached up and touched my face. That may have been an accident but it sure didn't seem like it. Well I am going to stop typing and post pictures.
