Peek-A-Boo

I just love to hear her laugh!! She is a little stinker! She loves to pull my hair! She still puts everything in her mouth and is drooling like crazy!! She says momma and dada. I'm not making that up, my mom and little sister hear her. Before they heard it no one believed me..they kept telling me that she was too young to be saying that but she says it often and has been saying momma since she was about 2 mths...no lie! She is still eating solids and she loves it. I gave her a teeny tiny bit of chocolate today and she LOVED it!! She had chocolate on her mouth. Any food or drink that we have she grabs for. She's no dummy, she knows that my food is way better than her solids and she would rather have mine. She reaches for things and can pick them up and hold it very well. If she drops her toy keys I will hold her down so she can pick them up.

For starters Kyndie did the funniest thing ever! I laid her on the bed after I fed her and went to get a diaper and a nightie to change her, but before I left I gave her her binky. When I came back she had the binky on her forehead and was trying to look up at it and was flailing her arms and making grunting noises....I was laughing sooo hard....I was frantically searching for the camera so I could take a picture...Greg was in the bathroom and I ran by looking for the camera and he was like "What is going on?" and he went to look at her and she wasn't doing anything, she had knocked it off before I could snap a picture, however I reenacted so you can see what she was doing. So here it is...

So I'm sure I have told this story before, but at church there is this little boy named Lane. He is the nephew of one of our friends and a few weeks back Lane and Kyndie were holding hands in church and had everybody's attention...it was adorable! Well we haven't been to church in a couple of weeks and we went today and Lane was happy to see her but I don't think he liked her bonnet because he grabbed it and tried to pull it off in the process making Kyndie's head wobble all over the place. She just grinned real big at him. It was funny! He also pulled her closer to him by her jacket. He is only a few months older than Kyndie. I think he will be a year old in June.

On another note Kyndie will be 5 mths old tomorrow. She weighs 17 pounds! I will update everything else later. She finally rolled over yesterday! She was laying in bed with me and was playing with her binky and rolled to her side and then rolled on over to her stomach. She look at me with a shocked look on her face like I had done it to her. She grabs for everything and sticks it in her mouth, including my hair. She loves her little toys and especially loves playing with her binky. She gave her first kiss the other day, it wasn't to me, but to her nanny (my mother). Silly little girl. She does something new everyday and makes me laugh. She is such a joy to me and her daddy! Daddy missed her rolling over because he was in the shower but she will do it just for him one day. I swear that she says actual words some days. I've heard her say momma...me not being the only one to hear her. It sounds like she says hi or hey and today it sounded like she said daddy...maybe she is maybe she isn't. Oh well I guess I can think what ever I want. Well I guess that is all for today!

Silly Little Girl!

Kyndie is getting sooo big!! She is doing more and more everyday!! Anything she can get in her hands she will grab for and it immediately goes into her mouth. She knows how to take her binky out of her mouth and she will hold it and look at it and then look at you and drop it in the floor and then smile. Last night she took the binky out of her mouth and got excited and started swinging her arm and was hitting me with it and then laughing. She's an ornery (sp?) little thing! She has a bouncy toy that we bought her and she absolutely loves it!! She gets excited and bounces like crazy! She is sitting up on her own pretty well. Last night I had her laying against my pillow and she pulled herself up. She loves her solids! The other day I wasn't getting it to her fast enough and she snatched the spoon out of my hand and shoved it into her mouth! Anywho I have some pictures...

4 Month Check-up

Kyndie's 4 month check-up went well. She weighs 15Lbs and 10Oz. She's a little chunck!! Her head was 41" and she was 25 1/4 inches long. The doctor said she was healthy and she bigger than most little girls her age. They put her on solids...this week she is eating rice cereal. She seems to like it okay but of course she doesn't know how to eat it and makes a mess, but that's okay she will catch on. Next week she will start on oatmeal cereal and the week after that she will get to eat applesauce. She as such a little attitude on her! I guess she gets that from me. She can sit up with support...she does a pretty good job of that. Sometimes she will hold her bottle other times she is just lazy. She is almost rolling over but not yet...when it gets to hard she gives up and throws a fit. She can take her binky out of her mouth and put it back in. She grabs for toys and plays with them and she also is noticing more thing more and more everyday. I have pictures...

4 months

Today is Kyndie's 4 mths. She is getting so big and doing new things everyday. She is now grabbing at things..this has just started within the past week. She loves to squeal!!! LOUD! She loves to kick her legs when she get excited. She is still teething..that tooth still has not broke through, just the very tip of it and it bothers her everyday and she is slobbering like crazy and chewing on her hands and fingers. She loves her lion (in the picture above). She likes to chew on him and I think mostly she likes the yellow. Today in church she was holding hands with our friends nephew, he is only 7 mths. They were checking each other out and were interested in each other. It was cute...they had the whole congregations attention. They're the only 2 babies in the church. She can also take her binky out of her mouth and put it back in. She doesn't do that all the time though. She's supposed to have her 4 month check up tomorrow but the doctor is gone. They're supposed to call me in the morning to see if I can get her in with another pediatrician. So after her doctors appointment I will repost with her measurements and weight. I guess that is all for now.

Sorry that I haven't been updating, but I have been busy this week. Kyndie is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She loves to smile and talk. Sometimes she has that stranger danger and then other times she doesn't care who it is she will smile and talk to them. I think mostly she has the stranger danger when she is tired and getting cranky and doesn't want to be held by anybody but mommy or daddy. She is almost 14 pounds and we haven't measured her yet but when we do I will post it. She's still licking everything that comes close to her mouth and if she actually gets it in her mouth she will suck on it. She has many facial expressions and uses them all. I think she can read the expressions on peoples face as well. She is sleeping through the night for the most part. Sometimes she will wake up in the middle of the night, but for the most part she doesn't.
