Sorry that I haven't been updating, but I have been busy this week. Kyndie is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She loves to smile and talk. Sometimes she has that stranger danger and then other times she doesn't care who it is she will smile and talk to them. I think mostly she has the stranger danger when she is tired and getting cranky and doesn't want to be held by anybody but mommy or daddy. She is almost 14 pounds and we haven't measured her yet but when we do I will post it. She's still licking everything that comes close to her mouth and if she actually gets it in her mouth she will suck on it. She has many facial expressions and uses them all. I think she can read the expressions on peoples face as well. She is sleeping through the night for the most part. Sometimes she will wake up in the middle of the night, but for the most part she doesn't.

So I figured out what was wrong with her yesterday. Her gums were hurting...poor thing! All I have is just a view pictures today.

She is doing this new thing were she always has her fist in her mouth. She licks her fist and her arm...or just about anything that come close to her mouth. haha. If she has a hold of my hand she tries to shove that in her mouth too.

Kyndie is doing good. She is cranky today although I'm not sure why. She is really tired and has slept most of the day. When I got up and fed her this morning at 6 she was all smiles and in a good mood, but when she woke up at 10 she was not so happy. She was happy again after I fed her and gave her a bath....but then when I put her in her car seat she threw a fit and then fell asleep. I took her down to see LaDonna's mom and she woke her up and she threw a fit then too. She is starting to get that stranger danger and if it's not her mommy or daddy she doesn't want them touching her. She's okay if it's someone she's seen a lot like my mom or Greg's mom even Alayne....but she cried when my dad tried to hold her...I assumed it was his mustache because she never see's facial hair, but then she cried when Greg's dad tried to play with her. Brandy said it may be because she doesn't see anything in them that reminds her of her daddy. She's a spoiled little toot, but that's okay. She will get over it. It's just shocking because she has never done that before...anyone who wanted to hold her could and she even smiled and talked to them.

Trying to Sit Up

Kyndie's arm is a lot better and I don't think that it will scar. She is wanting to sit up soo bad. This morning she sat up all on her own...but...there is a but....she was propped up on my legs. So she hasn't done it lying flat on her back but she is determined to do it so I have no doubt that she will be doing it soon. She hasn't even rolled over yet. Kyndie's first accident, Mommy's first heartbreak...

Last night we went to eat with my dad at the mexican restaurant here in Seminole called Cazadorez (sp?) and she was acting cranky because she was tired and wouldn't go to sleep so Greg was holding her and trying to call her down at the table. He got her calmed down and the guy brought out our food and sat the plate down in front of Greg and then the guy was talking to her and she got excited and flung her arm into the plate and it burnt her little arm. It was soo sad! I couldn't even eat my dinner because it made me lose my appetite. I held myself together until we got into the car and then I just broke down and bawled the whole way home and then about an hour after we got home. It was awful! I called the nurses line at Unity North and asked them what I should do. The nurse told me that it was considered a 1st degree burn and to just ice it and wash it with antibacterial soap for the next week. He gave me instructions and it made me settle down. I was so upset...it made me sick to my stomach and I had a panic attack. It looked awful last night but it looks a lot better today. I have some pictures of it from last night and from today.

3 Months

Kyndie is doing good. She is 3 mths old today...I don't know her weight or length but when I do I will post it. She is beginning to be such a little charmer. When she doesn't want to be in her swing or in her car seat, she tries to charm her way out of them. She will start smiling and cooing at you when you get close to her and when you're not close she starts kinda whining but when you come close to her again she will start cooing and smiling again. She is such a little stinker. She's smart too. She is already trying to sit up, she will grab your hands and start to pull up. she does not like to lay back when you are holding her, she has to be sitting up so that she can see all that is going on and she fights sleep bad. She doesn't want to miss anything. She is still teething. The tooth on the top has broke through the gums but just barely, but you can feel it and she has one on the bottom that you can see just below the surface. Well here are some pictures. haha....3 months old today!

Little Farmer

Here is the John Deere outfit that she got for Christmas..she looked so adorable in her little overalls. She has a little pink John Deere jean jacket to go with it and a hat. I will have to take pictures later when she has all of the outfit on. She has some John Deere boots too, but her feet are so tiny that she still has a ways to go before she can fit into them.
